Find The angle between x-axis and the line joining the points A(3,-1) and (4,-2).
Sol :
Slope of the line joining the points A(3,-1) and (4,-2).
m = -2-(-1)/4-3
= -2+1/1
= -1/1
= -1
Or tanx = -1 [ Since m=tanx]
tanx = tan135
Therefore x = 135
Hence The angle between x-axis and the line joining the points A(3,-1) and (4,-2) is 135
